Equipment & asset lifecycle management

Know every asset. Plan every replacement.

Most maintenance companies fix what breaks and move on. Site Command keeps a living record of the equipment at every location: age, service history, repair spend and warranty. You stop pouring money into units that should be retired, and you replace them on your schedule and your budget instead of in an emergency.

  • Every asset documented
  • Fridge temp & water-flow monitoring
  • Repair vs. replace, with numbers

What we track

The record most businesses never have.

Ask most managers how old their walk-in compressor is or what they spent on it last year and you'll get a guess. With Site Command you get the answer, with the invoices to back it up.

    Repair spend

Running total of what each unit has cost you, so a repair quote is weighed against the unit's history, not in isolation.

    Fridge temperature monitoring

Sensors in walk-ins, freezers and reach-ins report temperatures around the clock. If a unit drifts out of range, we're alerted and act before product is lost.

    Water flow & leak monitoring

Flow and leak sensors on water lines, ice machines and water heaters catch running leaks and bursts early, before they cause damage.

The asset lifecycle

From install to retirement, managed.

  1. Inventory

During onboarding we walk your site and document every major asset and its condition.

  2. Maintain

Each asset gets a preventive schedule, and every visit is logged against it.

  3. Monitor

We watch repair frequency and spend, and sensors watch fridge temperatures and water flow in real time.

  4. Plan

When a unit nears end of life or repair costs climb, we flag it early with a replace-or-repair recommendation and a budget estimate.

  5. Replace

We collect and compare replacement quotes, you approve, and the new unit goes into the register with its warranty.

Why it matters

Equipment is a capital decision. Treat it like one.

A business that tracks its assets spends less on surprise failures, budgets with confidence and can prove its equipment has been cared for.

Repair or replace? Decide with data.

We show you the unit's age, its repair history and what it has cost you, next to the replacement quote. The decision is yours, made with numbers instead of in a crisis.

Fewer emergency failures

Aging units and drifting temperatures are caught before they quit on a Saturday night with a walk-in full of product.

Budget with confidence

A forward view of which equipment is likely to need replacement, so capital spending is planned instead of sprung on you.

Proof for owners, landlords and inspectors

A documented maintenance history for each asset, ready when someone asks.

Value when you sell or renew

Well-documented equipment and maintenance records help when a business or building changes hands or a lease comes up.

Asset management FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to already have an equipment list?

No. Most businesses don't. We build the register during onboarding by walking your site and documenting each major asset, including data plate photos.

Is asset management part of my plan?

Asset tracking is built into how we run your maintenance. Your written proposal spells out which equipment is tracked and any add-ons, such as temperature and water-flow monitoring, before you sign.

How does temperature and water-flow monitoring work?

Sensors on your coolers, freezers and water lines report readings continuously. When a reading goes out of range or a leak is detected, we're alerted and contact you with next steps. You purchase the sensors once and own them after installation.

Who decides when to replace equipment?

You do. We flag units that are aging or costing too much to keep running, show you the history and replacement quotes, and nothing is purchased without your approval.

Can you track equipment across multiple locations?

Yes. Each location has its own register, and you can see spend and condition side by side across sites.
